Understanding the curriculum
The Spanish pathway includes Educación Infantil, Educación Primaria, Educación Secundaria Obligatoria (ESO), and options including Bachillerato. Spain’s education ministry lists its schools in Morocco. Check available grades and admissions with each school.
Stages of the pathway
Infantil and Primaria
Infantil covers early childhood and Primaria comprises six years. Ask about support for children new to Spanish and the place of other languages.
ESO
Compulsory secondary education lasts four years. Compare subjects, learning support and preparation for the next stage.
Bachillerato
This two-year stage prepares pupils for further study through a chosen pathway. Check available subjects and the admissions process in the intended country of study.

Frequently asked questions
Does every school teaching Spanish appear in this list?
No. Directory results require a profile describing a Spanish curriculum or school, rather than language classes alone.
How can I check Spain’s school network in Morocco?
Consult the school listings of the Consejería de Educación en Marruecos and the official register, then confirm grades and admissions with the chosen school.
Can pupils continue studying in another country?
This depends on the qualification and the receiving institution’s requirements. Check required subjects, language and admissions procedures before deciding on the pathway.
