Data we collect
We only collect the data needed for the service you request:
- Visit request: name, email, phone number, preferred date and message.
- Pre-registration: information about the child (last name, first name, date of birth, gender, requested grade, current school), about the parent or guardian (name, relationship, email, phone number) and attached documents.
- Contact form: name, email, optional phone number, profile, subject and message.
- School registration: contact details and description of the school.
- School and portal accounts: login credentials and school data entered by the school (students, classes, absences, homework, school diary, payments…).
Your favorite schools and your comparison selection are stored only in your browser: they are not sent to us.
Why we use it
- To send your visit and pre-registration requests to the school you chose.
- To send you confirmations and replies related to your requests.
- To answer messages sent through the contact form.
- To review and publish school profiles.
- To provide the school management software to subscribing schools and their users.
- To measure website traffic in aggregate in order to improve it.
Who receives your data
Your visit and pre-registration requests are sent to the school concerned, which processes them on its own behalf. For data entered in the management software, each school is the data controller and Olipo acts as a processor.
We use technical providers for hosting (Vercel), the database (Neon, hosted in the European Union) and sending emails (Resend). These providers may be located outside Morocco; these transfers are governed in accordance with Law No. 09-08 [reference of the CNDP transfer authorization].
We do not sell or rent your data.
Retention period
- Visit and pre-registration requests: [24 months] after the last interaction.
- Contact form messages: [12 months].
- School and portal account data: for the duration of the subscription, then [duration] after it ends.
Security
Exchanges with the website are encrypted (HTTPS), passwords are stored in encrypted form and access to management data is limited to the school's accounts, according to their role and permissions.
Your rights
Under Articles 7, 8 and 9 of Law No. 09-08, you have the right to access, rectify and object to the processing of your data. To exercise these rights, write to contact@olipo.ma stating your request. We will reply as soon as possible.
If the data relates to a file sent to a school, we may refer you to the school concerned. You can also contact the National Commission for the Control of Personal Data Protection (CNDP): www.cndp.ma.

Data about children
Information about children is entered by their parents or legal guardians, for the sole purpose of sending it to the chosen school or following their schooling in a subscribing school.
